The Norstar Modular 8x24 DS KSU System supports up to 8 lines and 24 extensions without additional hardware. By adding trunk cards and modules, the system can support up to 128 total ports (combination of lines and phones). This system has the DS feature (disconnect supervision). It allows handle voicemail and automated attendant.

This system can be expanded with the Norstar 0x16 module which provides 16 station ports and the Norstar 12x0 module which provides 12 trunk ports (You would need the LS/DS 4x0 cards to go into the 12x0 trunk module, maximum 3 trunk cards per trunk module).
A 2 or 6 port expansion card is required to add modules to the 8x24 KSU. The expansion card plugs directly into the KSU. The trunk and station modules then connect to the expansion card with a single plug in cable.
The Norstar 824 KSU is compatible with the Norstar Flash 2, Flash 4 and older copper based Norstar Application Modules (NAM).
The Norstar 824 phone system supports all Norstar business phones including the M7100, M7208, M7310, M7324, T7100, T7208 and T7316 phones.
