The 3Com HomeConnect IDSL modem will work with any Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) that supports the PPP protocol.
With an IDSL connection, Web surfing, software downloads, and telecommuting are fast and reliable - without busy signals or pay per usage/per packet charges. Installation of the IDSL modem is plug-and-play easy on both Windows operating system and Macintosh computers, through either a serial or USB port. The modem comes with 3Com ControlCenter software, to make configuration and troubleshooting as simple as point and click. Plus, the Auto Update/Instant Update feature checks the 3Com Web site for updated code, downloads it, and applies it automatically whenever you go online.
