The Adtran Opti-6100 Opti-MX 1184515L2 DS1VME 2nd Gen DS-1 Module multiplexes / demultiplexes one STS-1 into 28 VT1.5 mapped DS1 circuits. This is done using the signal from the backplane chassis of the OPTI-6100. Available circuits are made via the champ connectors on the back panel of the 6100 chassis. These circuits are normally routed to a DSX panel.
