The NetVanta 1224STR is a great choice for those demanding high performance with affordability. The 1224STR has twenty-four fast Ethernet ports (10/100 BaseT) along with a modular WAN interface located in the rear of the chassis. The Adtran 1200590E1 switch has a pair of dual personality ports that are 10/100/1000 BaseT Ethernet or SFP fiber. These ports can be used for uplink and stacking of up to sixteen switches, all of which can be managed via a single IP address. The web based graphical user interface makes managing this switch easy instead of having to use the command line interface.
