Using just the tape drive and the most recent backup tape, you can recover from hard disk failure, data corruption and viruses. The touch of one button restores the operating system, configuration, applications and data files to their status at the time the backup tape was made. You can store 7.2 GBof data an hour, and automatic read-after-write verification ensures data integrity. Read-write backward compatibility with DDS, DDS-DC, and DDS-2 enables you to continue using existing archive tapes. This drive is distributed through and HP Select Express program.
