I had signal problems with my WRT54G and decided to upgrade. I chose the 2500 as a low cost upgrade. Since installing it (very easy and fast) I have not had any lost/dropped signal problems. I am also happy with their upgraded Cisco Connect software. I strongly recommend it. I live in an apprximately 1800 sq ft three level house and the signal covers it all quite well.
