Description

The 16-port Passport 8616SXE Routing Switch module with MT-RJ connectors provides Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over fiber media. The Passport 8616SXE is optimized for server farms and power workstations that require increased bandwidth per port. With a maximum of 128 Gigabit Ethernet ports, the Passport 8616SXE provides the density necessary for implementing today’s application-driven networks. Each Passport 8600 Gigabit Ethernet module has LEDs to indicate port status and activity, and additional LEDs to indicate power and diagnostic status. The Passport 8600 Routing Switch Gigabit Ethernet modules are IEEE 802.3z and 802.3ab standards-compliant.
