Description
NETGEAR TA612V Broadband Voice over IP Adapter features two phone ports for connection to existing analog telephones and fax machines, providing high performance voice quality. A WAN Ethernet port connects the TA612V to the Internet via a Ethernet broadband modem and a LAN Ethernet port is available to provide connectivity and router/firewall functionality for sharing an Internet connection with a computer or to several computers via a desktop switch. The TA612V lets you make calls just the way you do now with your existing phone. Simply plug in the TA612V to a broadband modem and phone. Then sign-up to a VoIP phone service, and start calling, it is that easy. You won’t loose any of the phone features associated with traditional telephone calling e.g Caller ID, call waiting, voicemail, call return, and ring-back to name just a few.
