The Passport 8672 ATM Routing Switch module provides native internetworking service for connection to the MAN/WAN or to existing enterprise ATM networks using RFC 1483 routed and bridged Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVCs). The Passport 8672 ATM Routing Switch module can be used in a data center as a WAN edge device or in a wiring closet as an inter-building aggregation point for PVCs. The Passport 8672 ATM Routing Switch module delivers high-speed connectivity. It provides high availability for large client networks and a high degree of bandwidth control. The Passport 8672 ATM Routing Switch module can be easily managed and configured with the Nortel Networks Device Manager, a graphical switch configuration tool.
